We made a device to generate spark discharge for Yang's graduation research. The amplifier and other parts are ready-made, but the electrodes are handmade. Tungsten rods are wrapped around using a whole roll of insulation tape.
As a result of a trial run, we were able to successfully generate spark discharges. The high voltage should have been applied only between the electrodes, but the photo was taken from quite a distance because of the frightened operator.
4回生のYangくんの卒業研究へ向けてスパーク放電を発生させる装置を作成しました。アンプとかは既製品ですが電極は手作りです。タングステンの棒を絶縁テープをまるまる一巻き使ってぐるぐる巻きにしています。
試運転の結果、無事にスパーク放電を発生させることができました。高電圧は電極の間にしかかかっていないはずなのですが、びびっているため写真はかなり遠くから撮ったものです。
